• To install the software, double click on the Installer Icon.
This will install the software to a "Band-in-a-Box™ DEMO" on your hard drive.
Inside this "Band-in-a-Box™ DEMO" folder, it will create the following folders:
Songs
Styles
Synth Kits
Synth Kit Documentation
Soloists

• This demo of the Band-in-a-Box program allows you to enter and playback songs.
Some features are disabled in the demo version (save of songs, MIDI files etc., notation and auto-soloing.
• Band-in-a-Box is an auto-accompaniment music (MIDI) program. You type in the chords to a song, using standard chord symbols like C or Fm7, pick a style (like jazz swing) and then press PLAY. Band-in-a-Box automatically generates a 3-5 part arrangement of bass, drums, piano, guitar and strings, and plays it back through the speakers on your Mac using QuickTime 2.5 (or if you have a MIDI system, it will send the information to your MIDI module using a direct MIDI driver or OMS).
